One of the best to drive that I've had - and Ive had a few!

NCT 29.6.2024

HISTORY:

Car was sold new to a Mrs Wood in Wales on the 4th Aug 1989.

She went on to keep the car for 25 years and covered 151,000 of the 161,000 miles during that time. 3 owners since who kept up the maintenance.

21 stamps in the service book along with a stack of invoices attest to the excellent maintenance regime that this car has received.

In recent years nearly  £4000 was spent at Porsche specialists and Porsche Main Dealers. The timing belt, water pump and tensioner were replaced at 152,000 miles

Considerable time and money have been invested in this car to eradicate the usual 944 niggles right down to a replacement LCD clock being fitted

Even more recently I have had 4 new tyres fitted.

SPEC:

Equipped with electrically operated roof panel, Teledial alloys with 4 new tyres, power steering, electric windows and mirrors, central locking, rear wiper, Phillips period radio cassette (tape deck untested),leather steering wheel, 1/2 leather seats. Rear bumper has an S2 spoiler fitted.

Comes with both keys, book pack  including service book with 21 stamps, and history file. One key still has operational torch!

CONDITION:

Mechanically the car is very good and drives without fault.

Body and paint and also good - one front wing has been repainted some years ago and is slightly duller than the rest of the car. A good machine polish wouldn't go amiss.

Interior is in reasonable condition for a 35 year old car. The dash has a few of the typical cracks found in many 944s. These have been tidied up somewhat with smart repairs.

The light coloured upholstery and carpet are showing some patina that would be expected after 35 years regular use.

NOTE:

Central locking works perfectly using passenger lock however drivers lock only works that side. Was working fine till recently

.

Oil pressure gauge is reading fully up even when ignition is off. I have changed sender unit so it seems issue is in gauge.

A hinge has come apart on the wind deflector. I will order and supply one after auction to successful bidder
