A great little MX-5 with both hard and soft tops – an increasingly collectible modern classic.

Purchased by the previous owner in 2000, it was in regular, occasional use until 2017 when it went into dry storage. 

It presents in very solid, unmolested condition. Underside is good though there is some light flaking on both rear inner sills that looks like it could be cleaned off and re finished. There are some light marks on the body that appear to have been picked up during its time in storage. Paint is a but dull but should polish up nicely.

Car has been rigged up with a temporary battery and starts and drives well - I have covered some 60 kms. Naturally after such a long period of inactivity, a full recommissioning is encouraged with at the minimum getting all tyres, fluids, timing belt and water pump replaced along with full brake steering and suspension check over. I suspect thermostat is stuck closed and may need replacing along with full flushing of the cooling system.

Clean and tidy interior with no issues apparent. Various extras fitted  included  alloy gear knob and handbrake sleeve, chrome trim interior, leather armrest, cockpit net pouch, cup holder, chrome grille, chrome fuel cap. All original items retained and are in box in boot.

All electrics working with the exception of passenger window which did work once for me and electric aerial which is stuck. 
 

Hard top in good order along with a perfect soft top that was fitted around 2013 which does not seem to have been rerected until now.

Car comes with 2 keys, 1/2 tonneau cover, workshop manual, covers, file of receipts with photos to follow mid week - check back for update,
