NCT WAS DONE THIS MORNING. AS THE RIGHT HAND DRIVE HEADLIGHTS ONLY ARRIVED YESTERDAY AND I DIDNT HAVE TIME TO FIT THEM THE CAR FAILED ON LIGHT FOCUS AND ALSO A DAMAGED TYRE. 

1991 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA

5.0 V8 Auto LHD Coupe

This car has a 2 door coupé type body with a front positioned engine supplying power to the rear wheels. The Firebird Trans Am GTA forms part of Pontiac's 2F model series. The 5 litre engine is a naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 8 cylinder that develops 230 bhp (233 PS/172 kW) of power at 4400 rpm, and maximum torque of 407 N·m (300 lb·ft/41.5 kgm) at 3200 rpm

Specced with grey leather interior including steering wheel and gear shifter,  electric partially adjustable front seats, Alpine stereo with power antenna, power windows,  door locks and mirrors, immobiliser, power steering, airconditioning , cruise control. rear spoiler and side mouldings, alloy wheels, power disc brakes (on front), cruise control, cargo blind, WS6 Special Performance Suspension, 16" gold cross lace on polished rim alloys, 245 50 16" tyres

According to the sticker on the drivers door,  car was supplied new to one of the Gulf States before it was then sold the the UK in 1992. A letter on file explains the car was sold to a Mr Edwin Marriott by Bauer Millett who were one of the UK's premier US car dealers to join his collection of other American cars.

The letter goes on to say that the car was used sparingly till 1998 when it was then stored undriven till 2007 in an airconditioned garage on stands with wheels removed. In 2007 car was sold to a Mr Smith. At that time car was showing 20,910 kms. On last MOT in UK in 2020 mileage was recorded at 38,867 kms.

Car comes with book pack and history file with some old MOTs, invoices and the aforementioned history letter.

I recently imported car from UK. I fitted a new battery and had the a/c regassed. 

Car presents inside, outside and underneath in excellent condition with just a few minor issues as highlighted in the condition video. Mechanically it drives beautifully.

NOTE. During the 2 hour return trip today to Kilbeggan, the milometer and trip meter have stopped functioning accurately. They are now clocking up only a fraction of the actual kms driven.
