History:
Sinpar conversion carried out 30.5.72 according to the data plate - ie prior to first registration.
First document on file dates back to 1988, an invoice for a service carried out by Garage De Ledar in Saint-Girons which is near the Andorra border in the south of the country.
By 2007 the car had moved some 80kms north to a new owner south of Toulouse. It seems the restoration was carried out in 2007/2008.
A further owner is recorded in the North of the country in Joue Les Tours
More recently car was registered in UK where it resided for a couple of years.
Car is now Irish registered which enables it to have free movement in EU countries.
Condition:
An older restoration that still presents well. Much evidence of recent mechanical work. New top and bottom ball joints, steering rack, radiator, exhaust, overhauled gearbox, ignition system including electronic spark booster are all obviously recent.
Drives well without issue.
Everything working except the speedo needle which has bent with heat as was common with these and is frozen. The mileometer works fine. 37,000 kms showing - unwarranted. The interior light need to be properly wired up.
The interior is also in good condition with replacement seat covers and floor mats. The cabriolet roof also looks like it was replaced and slides open and closed as it should. Dash is good and free from cracks.
Equipped with 13" Delta Mics wheels with all terrain tyres, full cabriolet roof, front seat belts, side exit exhaust, off road bumpers,
Comes with 2 sets keys and small history file. Also Sinpar parts catalogue
